Human brain overview for biotech and artificial intelligence development (part 12)

A routine is a course of action to be followed regularly; a standard procedure. A routine is a set of normal procedures, often performed mechanically. A routine, in computing, is a set of instructions designed to perform a specific task; a subroutine.

A course is a sequence of events. A course is a path that something or someone moves along.

An event is an occurrence; something that happens. An event is a prearranged social activity (function, etc.) An event, in physics, is a point in spacetime having three spatial coordinates and one temporal coordinate. An event, in computing, is a possible action that the user can perform that is monitored by an application or the operating system (event listener); when an event occurs an event handler is called which performs a specific task. An event, in probability theory, is a set of some of the possible outcomes; a subset of the sample space. An event, in medicine, is an episode of severe health conditions.

To prearrange is to arrange in advance.

In advance means beforehand.

Beforehand means at an earlier or preceding time.

Earlier means previously; before now; sooner

Before means earlier than (in time), and in front of (in space).

Now means at the present time.

Preceding means occurring before or in front of something else, in time, place, rank or sequence.

A place, (physical), means an area; somewhere within an area. A place is a location or position in space. A place is a state of mind.

An area, in mathematics, is a measure of the extent of a surface; it is measured in square units. An area is a particular geographic region. An area is any particular extent of surface, especially an empty or unused extent. Area is the extent, scope, or range of an object or concept.

An extent is a range of values or locations. Extent is the space, area, volume, etc., to which something extends. An extent, in computing, is a contiguous area of storage in a file system.

Computing, literally, means the process or act of calculation. Computing, in computer science, means the use of a computer or computers. Computing means the study of computers and computer programming.

Literally means exactly as stated; read or understood without additional interpretation; not figurative or metaphorical.

Nucleobase, in biochemistry, is the base of a nucleic acid, such as thymine, uracil, adenine, cytosine and guanine.

Nucleic acid, in biochemistry and genetics, is any acidic, chainlike biological macromolecule consisting of multiple repeat units of phosphoric acid, sugar and purine and pyrimidine bases; they are involved in the preservation, replication and expression of hereditary information in every living cell.

Biological means of or relating to biology.

Biology is the study of all life or living matter. Biology is the living organisms of a particular region. Biology is the structure, function, and behavior of an organism or type of organism.

Life is the state of organisms preceding their death, characterized by biological processes such as metabolism and reproduction and distinguishing them from inanimate objects; the state of being alive and living. Life means lifeforms, generally or collectively.

Death is the cessation of life and all associated processes; the end of an organism’s existence as an entity independent from its environment and its return to an inert, nonliving state.

Cessation is a ceasing or discontinuance, for example of an action, whether temporary or final.

To cease is to stop.

Discontinuance is the occurrence of something being discontinued; a cessation; an incomplete ending.

To discontinue is to interrupt the continuance of; to put an end to, especially as regards commercial productions; to stop producing, making, or supplying.

Incomplete means not complete; not finished.
