Moore’s Law is ending: Artificial intelligence will take over

There is a monumental event coming in technology and humanity very soon.

There is a law in technology called Moore’s Law, which states that the computing power doubles and cost halves in every two years or so.

Moore’s Law will end in a few years; some experts say it already ended in 2022.

Computing power will no longer increase at physical level, because computing chips have hit the physical limit in miniaturization.

As I talk about in my next transhumanism book, titled ‘Defining intelligence: What artificial intelligence should be’, available at Amazon, Apple Books, and Robocentric Patreon page, my bet is that artificial intelligence is the next stage in technological progress and advancement.

More on this on my YouTube channel and podcast.

In order to further advance computing technology, smart computing technologies will have to be developed.

The end of Moore’s Law is not the end of humanity, I hope, but it is a very significant end. All of humanity’s changes that happened in the past 50 years happened because of Moore’s Law.

My bet is that while computing power cannot increase at the physical level due to hitting the physical limit of miniaturization, I believe computers will get smarter and process and apply information in much better ways through artificial intelligence.

As artificial intelligence processes and applies information in intelligent, humanlike ways, computing technologies will find more and more places in human endeavors, even more so than now.

As I talk about in my next transhumanism book, ‘Defining intelligence’, humans are happy when they are active.

One artificial intelligence capability that I strive to create is making humans happier through enabling humans to be more active.

In ‘Defining intelligence’, I talk about the role of artificial intelligence in the survival, social, economic, sexual, political, competitive, collaborative, creative, and procreative human activities.

As I talk about in my book, titled The Future, my long-term goal is advancing AI, robotics, human immortality biotech, and artificial nuclear-fusion powered mass scale outer space humanity expansion tech.

Yes, Moore’s Law is ending, or already ended in 2022. But this is not the end of technological progress and advancement, in my view.

In the future, through artificial intelligence, computers will get smart, and perform intelligent information processing and application for humans.

In the future, robots will do a lot of mechanical manual labor to create a lot of wealth on Earth and in outer space for humans.

In the future, artificial nuclear-fusion powered mass scale outer space humanity expansion tech will enable humans to harvest and process and use astronomical amounts of resources in outer space, and travel and live in outer space in massive numbers.

In the future, humans will use entire stars and planets as computing machines through using the enormous energy released by natural and artificial nuclear fusion.

I feel said that Moore’s Law is ending, but I hope that the end of Moore’s Law is not the end of humanity’s technological progress and advancement.

God willing, I’ll keep doing my part in publicly promoting and advancing AI, robotics, human immortality biotech, and nuclear-fusion powered mass scale outer space tech.
