Will certain human genes be illegalized in the future?
A very transhumanistic subject is human genetic engineering. In the future, if and when the human genetic engineering biotech is perfected, humans will be able to have the human genes that they want on demand.
That begs a question: Should certain human genes be illegalized in the future?
Should the human genes that are considered undesirable–such as disease-causing genes, criminal behavior genes, ugliness genes, and low intelligence genes–be illegalized in the future?

I think there is a fair chance that in the future, certain human genes will be illegalized.
My bet is that in the future, if and when the human genetic engineering biotech gets perfected, there will be no jail; instead of putting people in jail, the people who commit a crime will be genetically engineered to remove their criminal behavior genes, and immediately be released back into the society, because they will no longer commit crime due to lacking criminal behavior genes.
My bet is that in the future humans will be genetically engineered for jobs.
Humans do not want disease-causing genes, such as cancer-causing genes, so humans will voluntarily remove their disease-causing genes, and replace their disease-causing genes with healthy genes.
Humans want physical beauty, desirability, and prowess. If and when human genetic engineering biotech gets perfected, humans will voluntarily get the human genes that will make them physically attractive and desirable.
In the future, via human genetic engineering, some men will get the genes for handsome face, tall height and big manhood, to flaunt their human male physical prowess.
In the future, via human genetic engineering, some women will get the genes for pretty face, big boobs, slim waste, and big buttocks, to flaunt their human female physical prowess.
Human genetic engineering will enable humans to select and have the genes that they want.
In all likely chance, human genetic engineering biotech will create a truly egalitarian humanity on Earth and in outer space.
So far, the humans who have had the so-called disadvantaged genes, lived their lives with indignation, because they just couldn’t do and have as well as the genetically gifted people.
Human genetic engineering will make every human being genetically gifted in physical beauty and prowess, and intellectual capacity, on Earth and in outer space.
It remains to be seen what kind of humanity it will be, when every human being gets the human genes that they want through human genetic engineering.
Via human genetic engineering, the humans who want the human genes for good looks will have those genes.
Via human genetic engineering, the humans who want the human genes for high intellectual capability will have those genes.
If human genetic engineering biotech gets perfected, in the future, there won’t be a person with the so-called bad genes such as disease-causing genes. There won’t be any genetically caused human misfortune, such as genetically caused diseases on the human body.
When every human being gets the most desirable human genes via human genetic engineering, and armies of AI and robot workers work for humans, on Earth, and in outer space, what kind of humanity will it be? I look forward to that humanity, the transhumanistic humanity, where humans can have the genes that they want, not just the genes that were given to them by birth.
